what would happen if you use a shampoo designed for enhancing the color of dyed hair?
….but you dont have dyed hair? …for example you have brown hair but you want to further enhance it’s tones by using a shampoo like that… what would happen?
Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. Color-enhancing shampoos are made for artificial hues. They literally make the dye’s color stronger and more vibrant. If you have no dye, there is nothing for the shampoo to enhance. It usually dries out the hair. If you want to enhance your color, get a color glaze. John Frieda makes one that works very well. Just make sure to use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to keep your hair healthy beforehand.
